Former Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Jake E. Lee was shot multiple times in Las Vegas on Tuesday. He’s currently in a hospital ICU, but is expected to fully recover from the random incident, which occurred while he was taking his dog for a walk early in the morning. Osbourne stated his shock at the incident in a statement Tuesday night. “It’s been 37 years since I’ve seen Jake E. Lee, but that still doesn’t take away from the shock of hearing what happened to him today,” he told TMZ . “It’s just another senseless act of gun violence. I send my thoughts to him and his beautiful daughter, Jade. I just hope he’ll be ok.” Despite a past dispute with Sharon Osbourne and his subsequent dismissal from Ozzy’s band in 1987 (after a five-year stint), Osbourne says there’s no hard feelings. Lee later went on to form bands Badlands and Red Dragon Cartel. (COS)
